VOSD gets hundreds of emails every week from across India so kindly expect a delay in reply to your email. Please note that we only respond to emails whose answers are not available through the VOSD website FAQ page.
For rescue requests, pet parent inquiries, veterinary care questions, surrender requests, donor support, CSR inquiries, media inquiries, products, services, returns, and general communication with VOSD.
When contacting VOSD, please share clear details, including your name, location, the nature of the request, photographs or videos where relevant, medical records if available, and the urgency of the case.
VOSD receives an average of 100+ requests each day that a dedicated team looks into. Clear information helps the team assess, prioritize, and respond through the correct process. We appreciate your patience.

VOSD stray dog rescue services were stopped completely in 2015 due to attacks on our trauma center and ambulances in Bangalore. So if you find a dog who is sick or has met with an accident, please try to take the dog to the nearest vet clinic or NGO that can help with first aid and/or treatment. After treatment, if the dog is not fit to be released to the original location due to chronic illness or disability, then write to info@vosd.in to surrender the dog to VOSD Sanctuary & Hospital.
We DON’T have a helpline number that you can call. That means you cannot reach our team via any phone number. Numbers shared on different social sites or websites stating they are VOSD numbers are wrong. Kindly do not waste your time trying those numbers.
